We believe that training the brain is just as important as training the body.
Designed for intermediate female surfers over 30, this program demystifies the learning process so that you
become a more confident wave rider in a variety of conditions.
You’ll begin by practicing new maneuvers on land using a surf skate. Then, through constant repetition, you’ll quickly develop the muscle memory necessary for a successful transition to the water. In true Koolscty style, this all takes place in comfortable and encouraging environment.
When it’s all said and done, we strongly believe that anyone can take their surfing abilities to the next level.

Land practice is essential to open the whole field for surfing and to develop good movement habits. With the help of surf skate we can simulate surfing on concrete. Through this methodology, it is easier to learn and get your movements more intuitive for a better performance while surfing.

With the focus on organic whole foods, the meals will be mostly but not exclusively plant-based, cooked simply and with flavors from all over the world.

Our yoga classes are designed to lead you through a series of movements to rediscover your natural body mobility. Because we believe that our breath is essential to connect with our subconscious, we will help you develop awareness on those muscles which will make you understand and control reactions connected with surfing.

JoanaBorn and raised on a diet of surf, skate and beach life, Jo is happiest when she’s on a board. Blessed with the ability to see patterns and interpret connections, she’s designed her life around a love of all things boardsports. From the oceans to the mountains and the concrete in-between, these residencies are a physical manifestation of Jo’s life passion and a way for her to share her it with others.

JorgeWith more than 30 years of experience as a surf instructor, Jorge’s sole motivation is to inspire others in their boardriding pursuits. He specializes in coaching intermediate and advanced surfers, but he’s also proficient in the use of surfskating to develop muscle memory and improve your in-water performance.

DianaA genuine life and nature lover who found a renewed love for the ocean through long boarding, Diana is an engineer turned plant-based chef, food photographer and stylist who’ll be making fresh, nutritious and exciting meals for you to enjoy. 
YOGA & BODYWORK THERAPY
EmilieEmilie is a movement practitioner, yoga teacher and bodywork therapist who’s passionate about the human body. Her purpose is to utilize various treatment methods to aid the healing process and unlock physical and energy blockages. Emilie is most happy fulfilling her dream of living a simple life near the ocean.

FAQ'S.
The villa is situated a scenic 2-hour drive south from Lisbon on the west coast of Portugal. Porto Corvo is 20 minutes away. It’s here you’ll find shops and restaurants in a picturesque setting with cobblestone streets and traditional Alentejo houses.
The closest airport to our Villa is Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS) in Lisbon. From here, we will pick you up and take you straight to the Villa.

We advise you to check the latest information about COVID 19 and travelling to Portugal using this link. We also encourage all of our guests and staff to follow the preventive action guidelines given by the World Health Organization and to follow the travel recommendations from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in your country.
The residency starts on Thursday and ends on the following Tuesday. Check-in at the Villa is 2:00 pm and check-out is 10:00 am the following Tuesday.
In order to offer our best service, we must adhere to this schedule. Unfortunately, we cannot provide concessions for any activities that you miss due to a late arrival or early departure, however, it’s possible for you to arrive or leave any day during the weekend so long as you give us an advance warning. Please let us know ASAP and we’ll arrange a transfer for that day (cost not included on the package).
Please note that we don’t allow for any arrivals at the Villa earlier than 2:00 pm on check-in day as we need to prepare everything for you to enjoy an epic weekend.
To avoid missing out the transfer to our villa, we advise you to arrive the day before and spend one night in the beautiful city of Lisbon – we’re happy to guide you through.
The pick-up at Lisbon airport will be on Saturday at 11:00 am sharp. By ensuring that you’re on time, we can drive to the villa for check-in and begin with a mellow afternoon schedule.
First, that’s great – this’ll give you some extra time to unwind before joining our residency. Better yet, we can also recommend a few awesome breakfast spots nearby where you can relax and unwind until pick-up time.
We’ll drop you at Lisbon airport on Tuesday at 12:00 pm, however, please consider that heavy traffic might result in a later drop-off. For this reason, we advise you to book your flight back either later in the afternoon or on Wednesday for a more chilled return home.
We require a deposit payment within 48 hours via our payment service to hold your spot. We’ll then send out an invoice as soon as we get your booking request (usually within 24 hours). If this invoice isn’t paid within 48 hours from receipt of the payment link, the booking will be automatically canceled and your spot forfeited.
All COVID 19 cancellation, on-site procedures and protocols will be sent via email once you’ve proceeded with the booking payment. For more questions regarding the cancellation of a booking, please get in touch via email.
